Come out to our first of two workshops on taking the first steps for filing a civil suit against St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Ramsey County for what they did to us last September!
Civil litigation is our way to hold the state accountable for violating our rights. We can’t let them get away with what they did to us. We gotta sue the bastards!
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2009
Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Walker Community Church
Street: 3104 16th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN
The workshop will be a forum for people to discuss why they want to sue the city of st. paul, ramsey county, the rnc, etc. We will also discuss how law suits against the state fit into the broader anti-oppression movement and a description of the first steps in filing a lawsuit.
Finally, we will be announcing the Notice of Claim Mardi-Gras Action and building support for it.
